I was absolutely fine with the blackout yesterday, and still am! However, there is one thing that bothers the hell out of me about it. I read an article this morning about how there were numerous Tweets about Wikipedia being shut down. Can you guess who was complaining?

These kids were bothered that they couldn't do their research papers because of Wikipedia participating in the Blackout. Really?!?! Did your teachers not inform you that Wikipedia is NOT a credible source? Have you ever heard of an Encyclopedia? What about a Library or a Card Catalog? Did you ever learn problem solving skills?
Just because there is something that is in your way doesn't mean that there isn't another way around it! If you had a job...a REAL JOB...and your boss gave you a deadline, he wouldn't care that Wikipedia was down. Not going to finish the job? Go find another one! I hear that Burger King is hiring, you'll get discounted meals. Maybe try out Abercrombie...I hear their clothes are fashionable. Or how about Target or Walmart? You can probably get a discount on almost anything you may need. The best part...NO DEADLINES! NO EXCUSES!
Stop being lazy. Stop making excuses. Do the work!
